Financial Accounting and Reporting Section FARS Syllabi Initiative: Sample Syllabi for Intermediate Accounting and Ph.D. Seminars in Financial Accounting

In collaboration with the AAA Education Committee, FARS is participating in a syllabus-sharing initiative. A committee of the section -- Marty Loudder (Texas A&M), Elizabeth Oliver (Washington and Lee), K. Ramesh (Michigan State), and Terry Warfield (Wisconsin) -- solicited submissions of syllabi for two financial accounting classes – Intermediate Accounting and Ph.D. Seminars in Financial Reporting.

The submitted syllabi are accessible at the FARS web-site. To assist in determining whether a syllabus might be of interest, the Committee has developed a summary page for each set of syllabi to provide key information about each submitted syllabus.
